Hey Folks - meet Gumbo!  This is one handsome fellow and has a super sweet personality to boot!  How could you say no to that face?   He's a fan of the toy mice and really enjoys sitting on the window ledge and watching the world go by.  He is a tad quiet at first for a minute, until he knows that you are there to be his best friend - he then plops to the floor, rolls over and enjoys belly rubs!  How sweet is that?  Gumbo is about 3 years old, and is really in need of a new family who understands that he had a less than ideal start and needs a new lease on life and is willing to give him that.  You see, Gumbo was surrendered to a vet office by his previous owner.  It was discovered that Gumbo had some urinary crystals, and was in need of treatment and a special and proper diet to help ensure he stays healthy.  When they decided that was too much for them to take on, they requested that he be euthanized...  We are happy that we were able to take him in, and the ONLY thing that matters in this part of his story is the next step and moving forward!!  He is safe, has received the medical care that he needed, is on a diet to help him stay healthy, he is perfectly happy and has a long life to live!  Now we need to help him find his perfect match.  Could you be that for him?  A home of stability and love is all he needs - he promises to love you back and be your loyal friend and companion.  Please consider Gumbo, and welcoming him into your life.  We don't think that you will be disappointed.  A kind volunteer Fairy Godmother has sponsored Gumbo's adoption fee.

As part of the adoptioin package - Gumbo has been Neutered, FIV/FeLV tested, vaccinated, microchipped, and has received preventative flea treatment and deworming.
